The way of discovering
We are constantly trying to open the curtain of a ballet career for our students. One meeting with ballet stars passed on 12/30/2019 .
Every time we try to find originally way for gathering to help artists and students open up. At the previous time, students were able to see the artists in action in the classroom and after that ask and get valuable advice. We met with Andrey Batalov, Ivan Zaytsev, Ella Persson, and Svetlana Bednenko.
Andrey Batalov
"The master of the virtuoso technique, fantastic jumps, and pirouettes." Ballet Magazine
Honored Artist of Russia, winner of numerous competitions. He is a ballet idol to several generations. Although he graduated from the Academy of Vaganova in 1992 and he still performs on the stage.
Ivan Zaytsev
Currently, he is the premiere of the Mikhailovsky Theater, an incredible dancer.
Winner of many international ballet competitions. Known for his high jumps and precise technique.
Svetlana Bednenko
She dances not only classics but also contemporary dance. Currently, she is the first soloist of the Mikhailovsky Theater, in the past, she danced leading roles in Eifman's ballets and filmed in the BBC movie about Rudolf Nuriev.
Multipurpose dancer: flexible and strong.
Ella Persson
In 2015, graduated from the Vaganova Ballet Academy and the same year joined the Mikhailovsky Ballet, where she performs roles in the ballets La Sylphide, Swan Lake, Giselle, ou Les Wilis, Don Quixote, Le Corsaire, Cipollino, The Sleeping Beauty, The Nutcracker, The Flames of Paris, Laurencia, Cinderella.
