He graduated from the Saratov Choreographic Conservatory in GENNADY ALBERT's class, which was a direct disciple with Rudolf Nureyev, Mikhail Baryshnikov and Alla Osipenko of the mythical Alexander Pushkin, considered a legend among classical ballet masters.
During his solo career, Dmitri Shevtsov worked at the Boris Eifman Theatre, the Gorki Theatre, the Theatre of K. Tachkin and others. He participated in productions of famous choreographers of the Mariinsky Theater, among others he worked with Ignatev and Ganibalova.
He graduated with honors from the Vaganova Academy as a professor in LUDMILA SAFRONOVA’s class, who confirmed to be one of Vaganova’s great hopes and best methodists.
