Our newest course in Turkey will be developed in the Alper Ballet School. We are very grateful to this private school for lending us their facilities to impart the dance lessons of the VAGANOVA ACADEMY SUMMER INTENSIVE in the city of Istanbul organized by Russian Masters.
The school was founded in 1988 by the principal dancer from the Istanbul State Opera and Ballet, Emel Alper. She was a very outstanding figure in the ballet world of Turkey, remembered by her leading roles in ‘Coppelia’, ‘Raymonda’, ‘Blue Tuna’, ‘Peer Guint’, ‘Petrushka’ and ‘1001 Nights Tales’.
Russian Masters team feels very glad to present the facilities that the Alper Ballet School provides for our summer course. The school has two large dance rooms and one small studio, all of them with their own mirrors. Also there are common areas: three halls with a bar. We count with three separate dressing rooms. Finally, the school provides a buffet and a large waiting area. The total area of the school is 750 square meters.
We feel grateful to the Alper Ballet School for being our starting point in this new destiny of ours in Turkey. The VAGANOVA ACADEMY SUMMER INTENSIVE organized by the Russian Masters in Istanbul will be carried out in August 2-22. We are looking forward to realizing this collaboration during this summer.
