We are really happy to confirm this show as part of the cultural program of our winter course. La Bayadère, besides being one of the greatest classics of all time, is a work that only large companies can take to the stage due to the great production that it entails. Being able to watch it performed by the cast of the Mariinsky Theatre, one of the best in the world, is a real privilege that all participants will surely remember forever.
This romantic-themed ballet is a wonder in itself, but it stands out especially in its third act, commonly known as The Kingdom of Shadows, which is unanimously considered as one of the great jewels in the history of ballet. Also it will be quite an experience to be able to visit the backstage a few days before and then see how everything is transformed on the other side of the curtains, comment on the experience with colleagues and share impressions...
