Ksenia Shevtsova graduated from the Vaganova Ballet Academy and began her career as a soloist at the Stanislavsky Theatre in Moscow. She won the Bolshoi Ballet's Best Ballerina Nomination Project in 2018 and the Soul of Dance Award in 2019. That same year, she was appointed prima ballerina of the Stanislavsky Theatre. In the 2023/24 season, Shevtsova joined the Bayerisches Staatsballett as a First Soloist.
Her repertoire includes iconic roles such as Nikiya and Gamzatti in "La Bayadère," Odette/Odile in "Swan Lake," and Manon in "Manon" by Kenneth MacMillan, among others. She has also performed as Kitri in "Don Quixote," Giselle in "Giselle," and Juliet in "Romeo and Juliet," among others. She has taken on challenging parts in works by choreographers like Roland Petit, Yuri Possokhov, Jiří Kylián, Nacho Duato, and Alexei Ratmansky.
Debuting with the Bayerisches Staatsballett, she has performed in "The Storm" from Tchaikovsky Overtures, "La Bayadère," "Romeo and Juliet," and "Onegin," among others.
